Full Circle’s Ideas Festival is a place to explore and debate the key issues and ideas of our time. A moment for thoughtful conversations that aims to challenge ways we see the world and inspire change, stimulate fresh thinking, encouragenew ways of seeing old problems and seeking solutions. We invite the publicto shed any preconceptions and keep an open mind as some of the most topical issues of our time are brought to the table to be discussed in a relaxedsetting. This year, the overall theme of the Festival is ‘Resist’.
This writing contest takes up the festival theme across three categories - fiction, non-fiction and poetry.
There is no shortage of social issues or plain political chaos to resist through your writing. This year we are looking for works that awake and inspire political consciousness and provide a narrative of resistance in the face of oppression, injustice, complex events, life's busyness...
Writing for change is no small act of protest, but a powerful choice.
Here's how you can take part and submit your words of resistance:

Entries of max 1,000 words or up to 40 lines of poetry in English are to be submitted by completing the google form and attaching your work.
