Brussels Muzieque delights us with an evening of lyricism with three of the greatest composers of the Romantic period interpreted by a special ensemble set: soprano, clarinet and piano.
The stunning lyric soprano Déborah Salazar, concert pianist Monika Dars and solo clarinet of Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen Daniel Mourek, will combine the unique colors and nuances of their instruments to recreate masterpieces by Schubert, Schumann and Brahms.

THE MUSICIANS
Déborah Salazar - lyric soprano
Belgian-Mexican lyric soprano, she has performed concerts for the Opera House of Avignon, Bordeaux, Lille, Massy, Antwerp and Ghent as well as at the Armel Festival in Budapest, in Côté Jardin with Symfoniekorkest Vlaanderen. She has performed under the leadership of renowned conductors (Pierre Cao, Joël Suhubiette, etc.) and collaborated with European stage directors. Her roles include Blondchen at the Opéra de Clermont-Ferrand, Leı̈la at the Salle Cortot, Gretel at the Opéra d'Avignon and Clermont-Ferrand, Alcina with Opera Nomade, Pamina at the PBA de Charleroi and for the Opera Houses of Metz, Reims and Massy. She has won prizes in the Bellan Competition, the International Triumph of Art Competition in Brussels and the First Prize in the V. Bellini International Competition.
Monika Dars - concert pianist
Lithuanian pianist, laureate of the Joseph Darche Piano Prize in Brussels. She has won a prize at Luigi Nono Chamber Music Competition in Italy and with the Urban Piano Quartet she was the winner of the Supernova 2019 competition (Belgium) and the Nordic Strings chamber music competition (Denmark). As a soloist, Monika has already performed accompanied by several Symphony and Chamber orchestras and 2019 and 2020, she performed regularly for the Lincoln Center of Performing Arts in NYC. She has appeared at prestigious European festivals all over the continent. Her recordings have been broadcasted by Lithuanian National Radio and Television, Musiq3, Klara and Notele in Belgium, and BRAVA channels in The Netherlands.
Daniel Mourek - clarinet
Czech clarinetist, holds the position of solo clarinet in the Flanders Symphony Orchestra. Daniel has played with the Orchestre de la Radio France, Basel Symphonic Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, United Nations Orchestra, Opéra de Toulon, Chamber Orchestra of Prague and Treplice Philharmonic. He is the winner of several international prizes, including the Concours Int. Debussy in Paris, Concours Int. Jaques Lancelot in Rouen & Int. Prize Concertino in Prague.
